Coombe Valley Transport limited is a family business established in Dover over a century ago by Mr John Husk, Grandfather of the present owner Martin Husk.
Mrs Ellen Mary Husk, wife of thre late Arthur E. Husk founder of Coombe Valley Transport ( a subsidiary of J Husk limited )  and the mother of Martin Husk is a Director of the Company and continues to take a great interest and was particularly instrumental in the inception of Coombe Valley Transport.
Martin Husk has three sons, so there is a good chance that the business will flourish and grow for many more generations
Coombe Valley transport has given considerable support to the community especially to the Dover Pageant and Dover Carnival.

The appearance of a Coombe Valley lorry in Carnivals in Dover and Deal has been much in evidence.
